Informative and realistic with eye to the future

The first all inclusive guide for parent's of children with Down's Syndrome and practitioners alike that I have read. Some of the chapters can be heavy reading especially for a lay person, but other chapters on education, therapy, speech, etc. are wonderful and full of ideas and the why's and how's of certain aspects of Down's Syndrome. I have readjusted some of my daughter's routine with learning and diet as well as how I respond to her successes and failures. Very grateful for this book.
