I would love to meet this author in person.� She comes across as such a spiritual and humble person!� If that is what memorizing scripture does to a person then we should all get busy!� I gave this book 5/5 stars.� I thought the advice was practical and the personal examples informative.� You will come away with a better understanding of why we should memorize scripture and a simple way to start.� I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in scripture and how it can benefit them as a Christian.

About the Author
JANET POPE is a 2011 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Theology. Teaching the Bible is her passion, and her distinct speaking ministry inspires others to run to God's Word first. Her solid foundation comes from memorizing entire books of the Bible-16 books and counting. Janet and her husband Ethan live in Dallas, Texas.

Makes memorizing scripture easier

I've been memorizing Bible chapters for years so I didn't expect this book to be helpful. Wrong! I picked up tips that I could immediately implement, and was encouraged to not shy away from memorizing whole books of the Bible.
As I read, I felt like Janet was in the room with me, coaching me on the how-to's as well as the why's. She gives concrete instructions on how to memorize Psalm 1 and the book of Titus, which you can then apply to any text you want to memorize.
Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned memorizer, this book will be beneficial.

Wonderful concept

The Bible says to write the Word on our hearts, and this book makes that so easy! I had seen it first on one of my friends' posts on facebook, and found the author and followed her, and I just loved what she had to say so much that I bought the book! I have never been one to memorize things easily and I am still working on memorizing but her ideas are actually making me believe that yes, it is possible! This book isn't like other ones where you sit down and read through first, then apply it. She actually has you doing exercises all throughout the book, learning as you go, and you have to complete each exercise otherwise the next section won't make sense. And I love that. It's just like having your own personal teacher. Highly recommend!
